Lesson Types

Each lesson has one of three types:

Text

A rich text editor where you can write formatted content — headings, bold, italic, links, lists, and embedded images.

Video

Upload a video directly to Simplecourse. We handle the hosting and playback — no need for a separate video service. Supported formats include MP4, MOV, and WebM.

You can also add optional text content below the video for notes or companion material.

Download

Attach files for students to download — PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, audio, code, archives, and more. Max 50 MB per file. You can add multiple files to a single lesson and include an optional description.
