How SimpleCourse Pay Works

SimpleCourse Pay is the built-in payment system that lets you sell courses directly from your SimpleCourse site. It's powered by Stripe and handles checkout, payment processing, and automatic enrollment.

How it works

  1. You set a price for your course
  2. Your course gets a checkout page that students can use to purchase
  3. When a student pays, they are automatically enrolled and get instant access
  4. The money goes to your connected Stripe account
  5. You choose when to get paid — set up automatic payout schedules or do manual payouts

0% commission

We don't take a cut of your sales. You only pay Stripe's standard processing fees, without any markup from us.

Stripe's standard fee in the US is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. For example, if you sell a course for $100:

  • Stripe processing fee: ~$3.20
  • SimpleCourse commission: $0
  • You receive: ~$96.80

When to use SimpleCourse Pay

SimpleCourse Pay is the easiest way to start selling. If you just want to set a price and start earning, it's the best option.

If you already have an existing payment setup with another provider, you can connect that instead.
